Conway to Fürstenberg, minister of the elector of Münster: the presence of the Prussian light troops was not of his doing, and he has garrisoned the town only with sufficient troops to guard the military stores. He did not refuse the British Legion permission to join the Prussians, but stipulated that they should leave the town immediately. He encloses a copy of his letter to Lieutenant Colonel Beckwith [SP 87/48/66]. Dated at Münster. ff. 107, 108
