Defendants: John Gorwyn, gent of Bradley in Crediton, Devon, Mary Easterbrook, widow of Roger Easterbrook, Nathaniel Carter of Zeal Monachrum, Devon, Richard Daltridge the younger of Chulmleigh, Devon and Richard Preston, esq of Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex.
Subject: Ownership of fields in Chulmleigh conveyed by plaintiff's father George Edworthy to John Gorwyn (father of defendant John Gorwyn) in 1807 as a mortgage: the fields were subsequently sold by the Gorwyns to Richard Preston.
