Grenville to Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick: the negotiations with France have reached the point where preliminary articles [of the peace] may soon be signed. The duke of Bedford and the duke de Nivernois have been appointed ambassadors respectively. In Germany, both sides are to withdraw from their conquests and return their troops to their own territory.
