Folios 399-400. Letter from Joshua Scholefeld [Joshua Schofield] and Thomas Attwood, reporting a disturbance or riot during the election at Birmingham, Warwickshire. This was at Dee's Hotel but he explains there was little serious damage. He also refers to Mr Stapleton (the unsuccessful candidate), Lloyd Williams, James Taylor and the role of Colonel Sir Maxwell Wallace in command of the troops there.
