Folios 375-376. Letter from the Reverend William Bedford, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, containing a transcribed letter to him from J W Whateley, George Whateley, Edward Armfield, John M Knott, Henry Smythies and John B Hebbert, magistrates. Bedford asks for a copy of Mr Spooner's [Richard Spooner] letter to Sir Maxwell Wallace. The magistrates letter to Bedford informs him of the correspondence they have had with the Home Secretary concerning Wallace's role in the riots.
