Description

Folios 295-310. A narrative of the events connected with the riots at the election in Birmingham, Warwickshire, in July 1837, by Colonel Thorn. This is a detailed account of the events in and around Birmingham and also includes copies of letters referred to in the narrative from Henry Ash of the 5th Dragoons and Joseph Webster, Warwickshire magistrate.
