Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick to Bute, enclosing states for the components of his army as at 1 April 1762 [SP 87/46/53-64]. He reports on the progress of reinforcements and the formation of magazines. Soubise is expected in Cassel. He intends to attack the town and castle of Arensberg so as to cut enemy communications between the lower and upper Rhine. Dated at Hildesheim. ff. 89, 90
