Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series sheet [?Berwickshire XVIII.8], showing part of the Liberties of Berwick. No information about printing, dates, etc, is still visible. Endorsed: 'Wei-Hai-Wei ...'. Presumably, this map was either used as a cover sheet for items (1-15) or filed with those charts in error.
Note that, despite its being on the English side of the border, the Ordnance Survey initially included Berwick-upon-Tweed in its survey of Berwickshire, Scotland; from the revisions of the mid-1890s onwards, Berwick was mapped as part of Northumberland. The county name and sheet number on this sheet have either perished or been torn away, but the adjoining sheet numbers (shown in the margins) clearly do not fit the Northumberland 1:2,500 sequence.
