Sudan. 'Cataract of Dal-Naron from the North' (endorsement): watercolour view, also showing three laden camels and drivers on the bank of the River Nile. Painted by Lieutenant Colonel D W Martin. Lieutenant Colonel Martin retired from the 8th Foot Regiment in 1879.
