Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Inkerman. 'Sketch looking Down Careening Bay Ravine Shewing Position of Whiteforts Mountain & the Quarries. Assaulted successfully on the night of the 7th June 1855': pen-and-ink view of the ravine between Victoria Ridge and Inkerman Ridge, with Sebastopol (Sevastopol') harbour in the distance. Signed by Captain M A Biddulph, Brevet Major, Royal Artillery.
