Description

Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Sebastopol (Sevastopol'). (31) 'Sketch looking down The Middle Ravine towards Sevastopol shewing the new 2nd Parallel on the Victoria ridge, and its continuation from the Right Attack': MS view. Reference notes on fortifications. (32) Unfinished version of (31), lacking all of the text. (33) Lithographed version of (32), with the title extended to identify Major M A Biddulph, Royal Artillery, as the author and include the date of 19 March 1855; produced at the Topographical and Statistical Depot, War Department, 16 June 1856.
