Description

Russian Empire: Crimea (now part of Ukraine): Sebastopol. 'View of the Docks of Sevastopol. Previous to their demolition': soldiers, men at work on the docks, harbour in background. 'From a Photograph by Mr Robertson'. Lithographed and printed at the Topographical and Statistical Depot, War Department, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel T B Jervis, 27 March 1856; published by authority of the Secretary of State for War and sold by Williams and Norgate, Covent Garden.
