France: Saint-Malo. 'Carte des environs de St Malo': map showing the bombardment of the town by the British fleet; also showing the ranges of French batteries and the positions of French ships. Reference table to the action. Scale: 1 inch to about 230 toises. Compass star. Saint-Malo was bombarded by British naval forces in 1693, 1695 and 1758; this map probably depicts the bomardment under Admiral John Benbow, November 1693.
