France. 'Plan & Profils du Fort Blanc': plan and three sections, all on one sheet. Scale: 1 inch to about 10 toises (plan); 1 inch to about 25 toises (section). Signed by W T Edwards, Assistant Deputy Quarter Master General. The paper bears the watermark of J Whatman, 1808; the map was probably drawn in about 1815. Fort-Blanc is sited on the Gironde estuary.
