France: Île de Ré: Saint-Martin-de-Ré. 'Plan et Veüe de St. Martin en l'Isle de Ré': map of the town and surrounding countryside showing fortifications. Title on a scroll. Above the map is a view of the town, with ships in the harbour; surrounded by a decorative frame incorporating a medallion bearing three fleurs-de-lis [the symbol of France and the French king], supported by putti and surmounted by a crown.
