France: Arles-les-Bains (now Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda): Fort-les-Bains. 'Plan du Fort des Bains': plan of the fortress, also showing the surrounding countryside in perspective. Scale: 1 inch to about 10 toises. The style suggests that this plan might be the work of Isaac Landmann (professor of artillery and fortification at the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, from 1777 to 1816) or one of his pupils; the non-metric scale indicates a date before 1795.
