France: Paris. (10) 'Plan des Carrieres de Vaugirard Levé au mois de Juillet 1777': map (covering the area now in the XVth arrondissement), showing quarries. Scale: 7 inches to about 100 toises. (11) 'Carrieres de Vaugirard': unfinished map, partly in pencil, of the same area as item (10), also showing houses in immediately adjacent areas. Dimensions: (10) 37 cm x 43 cm; (11) 43 cm x 58 cm.
