China: Guangdong province. 'Plan of attack on the Heights and Forts near the City of Canton [Guangzhou] under the command of Major General Sir Hugh Gough K.C.B, 25th May 1841'. Reference tables to batteries etc, to the positions of British forces, and to buildings and positions taken. Scale: 1 inch to 300 yards. Compass indicator. (Signed): Lieutenant W J Birdwood, Assistant Field Engineer; this copy by Brevet Captain A G Moorhead, 26th Regiment. Various additional notes, in pencil.
