'Field sketch of the attack on the Chinese positions on the Ningpo River by a combined military and naval force on the 10th October 1841... by Lieutnts Randall and Johnston, Madras Engineers': map of the mouth of the Ningbo [or Yong] River, showing the positions of ships. Reference tables to the movement of British and Chinese forces. Compass indicator, in pencil. Signed by Captain Thomas Townsend Pears, Commanding Engineer, Eastern Expedition. Various further additions and notes, in pencil.
