Title in a cartouche, with a coat of arms and oriental figures. Compass indicator. Printed for [John] Bowles and [Thomas] Bowles; [published and] sold by Moll, by Philip Overton and by John King. Insets: maps of: the Gulf of Smyrna (now Izmir, Turkey); Bombay (now Mumbai, India); the lower portion of the Hugli (Hooghly) River (in eastern India); Asia north of the Arctic Circle; Zhoushan (in China); Amoy (now Xiamen, China); and the Bosporus Strait, labelled incorrectly as the 'Hellespont' [i.e. the ancient name for the Dardanelles].
Earl Cowper died in 1723; this map presumably dates from in or before that year.
