'To Her most Sacred Majesty Carolina Queen of Great Britain France & Ireland, This map of Europe According to the Newest and most Exact Observations is most Humbly dedicated by your Majesties most Obedient Servant Herman Moll Geographer': map of territory as far east as the River Ob' and the Caspian Sea. Title in a cartouche, with a portrait of Queen Caroline [wife of King George II], the royal coat of arms, and figures probably representing the continents. Scale: 1 inch to about 100 miles. Compass indicator. Printed for [John] Bowles and [Thomas] Bowles; [published and] sold by Moll and by John King. Inset: map showing the position of a proposed canal to connect Caspian and Black Seas, via the River Volga, the River Ilovlya and the River Don; scale: 1 inch to about 8.5 miles.
Presumably, this map was originally produced between the accession of George II in 1727 and Moll's death in 1732, although it may be a later, posthumous, edition; Queen Caroline died in 1737.
