Plan to scale: 3 inches to 310 feet [1:1,240]; sections to scale: 1 inch to 4 feet [1:48], 1 inch to 9.5 feet [1:114] and 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Originally accompanying a letter from Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Blanshard, Royal Engineers, 15 July 1848.
