Devon. Map comprising reduced-size photographic copies of all or part of each the following Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series sheets: [Devon CXVII.10-12, 14-16]; Devon CXVIII.9, [13]; and [Devon CXXIV.1, 5]. The combined map covers the area between Tamerton Lake in the north-west and the Laira in the south-east. Scale: 12 inches to about 1 mile. MS title: 'Plymouth North Eastern Defences': coloured MS additions, and small sheets of paper bearing plans of fortifications, affixed to the face of the map, reflect this title. Signed by Captain E F DuCane, Royal Engineers, May 1862. A sheet of tracing paper bearing an extension, in MS, eastward from Fort Efford is also affixed to the map.
