Singapore. A set of five maps and plans of drainage schemes planned to be constructed at Alexandra Barracks, Blakang Mati, and Tanglin Barracks.
(36-37) Site map of Tanglin barracks, on two printed sheets: (36) a complete copy of sheet 2 joined to part of sheet 1; (37) a complete copy of sheet 1. Reference table to item (36). Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200]. Compass indicator to each item. Surveyed and drawn under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel W H Chippendall, Royal Engineers, January 1899. Sheet 2 printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1910; (signed): Sergeant E K Budd, Royal Engineers, 8 February 1810; and Lieutenant Colonel [?Woolstone], Royal Engineers, 9 February 1810. Both sheets revised to 1923 and (signed): Lieutenant Colonel R L B Thompson, Commanding Royal Engineers, Malaya, 17 October 1923. Sheet 1 [printed by] Ordnance Survey 1924. Coloured MS additions to both items show the drainage scheme.

MS additions, coloured, showing the drainage scheme; reference notes. A note in MS states that the contours are inaccurate.

All items signed by Lieutenant Colonel W Hyde Kelly, Commanding Royal Engineer, Malaya, 7 September 1826. Originally accompanying a command letter numbered CR/20851, 8 September 1826; this letter was destroyed under section 6 of the Public Records Act 1958.
