Canada West (now Ontario, Canada). Map of 'Toronto Military Reserve. Resurvey by William Hawkins Deputy Surveyor... as laid in Town Lots on the East of the ravine'. Scale: 1 inch to 264 feet. Compass indicator. Copied from an original map signed by Mr Hawkins, by Sir Francis B Head, Lieutenant Governor of Canada, and by Captain R H Bonnycastle, Royal Engineers; and dated 1837. This copy by R Pilkington. Originally accompanying Colonel Dixon's letter dated 30 October 1852.
