Canada West (now Ontario, Canada): Stamford (now part of Niagara Falls). 2 maps showing land lots and the boundary with the New York state, United States of America: (20) 'Falls of Niagara Sketch shewing in yellow that portion of the Military Reserve in the township of Stamford... which is proposed to be given up to the Provincial Government'; (21) '... Sketch of part of the "Chain Reserve" extending along the bank of the River Niagara ... surrendered to the provincial government by deed dated 1st Octr. 1852 ...'. Scale: (20) 1 inch to 48 chains [1:38,016]; (21) 1 inch to 96 chains [1:76,032]. Both items drawn by R Pilkington. Originally accompanying: (20) Colonel Henry Vavasour's letter number 105, 2 February 1850; (21) Colonel Dixon's letter number 67, 13 November 1852.
