(5) 'Sketch of part of the line of railroad from Bytown [now Ottawa] to Prescott, shewing the lots 21 and 22 in the Gove of Gloucester ...'; (6) Detailed plans of lot 21 and lot 22, showing the proposed railway line. Scale: (5) 1 inch to 1,232 yards [1:44,352]; (6) 1 inch to 254 feet [1:3,048]. Compass indicator to each sheet. Both items by Lieutenant Sidney B Farrell, Royal Engineers. Both sheets signed by Captain Charles E Ford, Royal Engineers, (5) 31 October 1851, (6) 18 December 1851; and by Lieutenant Colonel C O Streatfield, Commanding Royal Engineer, 23 December 1851. Dimensions: (5) 45 cm x 57 cm; (6) 29 cm x 45 cm. Originally accompanying Streatfield's letter dated 23 December 1851.
