Sketch map of the area between Saint Mary's Falls, at Sault Sainte Marie, in the west; the confluence of the Métis River with the Saint Lawrence River in the east, and Hudson, in New York state, in the south; showing lakes, rivers, canals, main towns, and the boundary between British and American territories. Scale: 1 inch to about 23 miles. Signed by S R Howlett, 21 April 1846. Originally accompanied Colonel [W C E] Holloway's report to the Inspector General of Fortifications concerning canal navigation, 25 March 1846.
