Canada East (now Quebec, Canada): Montreal. (19) Sections through the ground shown on item (20). (20) Contoured plan of ground proposed to be used for a full barrack establishment, showing buildings. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Compass indicator to item (20). Item (19) by Lieutenant John Desborough, Royal Engineers; item (20) by Lieutenant Desborough and Lieutenant J Woods, 81st Regiment; both items dated 25 February 1846. Each item signed by Colonel W C E Holloway, Commanding Royal Engineer. Dimensions: (19) 59 cm x 129 cm; (20) 146 cm x 126 cm. Originally accompanied a letter to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 24 February 1846.
