'Map to illustrate the boundary line established by the treaty of Washington of the 9th August 1842 ...': showing British and American boundary claims, the settlement awarded by King [William I] of the Netherlands [in 1831], and the settlement finally determined by the [Webster-Ashburton] Treaty of 1842.
