'Plan of the River Richelieu': two maps showing roads, creeks, villages, wharves, landing places, ferries, shoals, and soundings: (51) comprising four joined sheets, covering the river from the boundary with the United States of America to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu; (52) comprising eight joined sheets, covering the area from the Chambly Basin to Sorel at the confluence with the Saint Lawrence River. Reference table and notes. Scale: 1 inch to about 587 yards. Compass indicator. Reduced from a survey by David Taylor, Master, Royal Navy. Signed by Colonel W C E Holloway, Commanding Royal Engineer, and Captain Edward Boxer, Royal Navy. Dimensions: (51) 111 cm x 172 cm; (52) 66 cm x 337 cm. Originally accompanying a [Naval and Military Commission] report dated 31 May 1845.
