Description

Canada West (now Ontario, Canada): Kingston. Three plans of Tête de Pont: (18, 20) both showing a picket fence around the cavalry stables; (19) showing a fence proposed to be constructed around a barracks that is to be auctioned. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Item (18) [by] Lieutenant J Woods and signed by Colonel W C E Holloway, Commanding Royal Engineer, 1845; items (19-20) signed by Lieutenant Colonel R H Bonnycastle, Royal Engineers, October-December 1844. Insets to item (19): details of fence posts.
