Canada West (now Ontario, Canada). Three plans showing Ordnance land proposed to be used as gardens for troops: (11) at Amherstburg; (12) at Niagara-on-the-Lake; (13) at Prescott. Item (13) also shows a proposed parade ground. Reference table to item (13). Scale: 1 inch to 100 yards. Compass indicator to item (11). Each sheet signed by Colonel W C E Holloway, Commanding Royal Engineer. Dimensions: (11) 27 cm x 36 cm; (12) 30 cm x 23 cm; (13) 28 cm x 22 cm. Originally accompanying a letter dated 10 December 1844.
