Plan of part of the fortifications, showing the North Front, with the rocks and caves below it; the road to the Devil's Tower; sandbanks, marshland and dry land; and high and low water marks. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet. Surveyed by W Skinner. The suggested date is taken from the War Office map docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps).
