Newfoundland: Saint John's (now in Canada). Ten plans on one sheet showing: Signal Hill; Fort Townshend and Fort William; and Quiddy Viddy, Amherst, Wallace's, Queen's, Frederick's, Waldegrave's and Chain Rock batteries. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200] (Signal Hill and forts); 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600] (Frederick's battery); 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240] (remainder). Compass indicator to each plan. By T G W Wagstaff, Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman; signed by Captain E W Durnford, Royal Engineers, 20 December 1809.
