Ireland: County Cork: Ballincollig. Four sheets of drawings relating the laying of pipes from the River Lee, to ensure an adequate water supply to the Ordnance barracks. (9) Plan of the barracks and the surrounding area as far as the River Lee, showing roads, buildings and the pipelines. (10) Section relating to item (9). (11) 'Plans and sections of the water houses and cisterns proposed to be erected within them'. (12) 'Plan and section of the engine house'. Reference notes to item (12) supply technical information. Scale: (9) 1 inch to 264 feet [1:3,168]; (10 [horizontal]) 1 inch to 100 feet [1:1,200]; (10 [vertical], 11-12) 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. All items signed: Lieutenant Colonel W C E Hollway, Royal Engineers, 8 February 1837. Sheet sizes between 42 cm x 26.5 cm and 43 cm x 56.5 cm. Originally enclosed with a report and estimate submitted by Lieutenant Colonel Holloway, 8 February 1837.
