'Fitments of Troop ships and other vessels for Conveyance of Troop Horses and Transport Animals': nine sheets of drawings, giving measurements: (1-2) part-plans of decks; (3-4) sections of decks; (5-6) plans, elevations and sections of stalls; (7-8) details of individual wooden and iron components of stalls; (9) sketches of harnesses, slings, etc. Scale: (1-4) 1 inch to 4 feet [1:48]; (5-6) 1 inch to 2 feet [1:24]; (8) 3 inches to 1 foot [1:4]; the remaining sheets not to scale or scale not specified. Originally accompanied the report of a committee presided over by Colonel the Hon H H Clifford, CB, VC.
