Three sheets of the Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series joined: [parts of Hampshire LXXXIII.12, LXXXIII.16 and LXXXIV.9], showing the Southsea area of Portsmouth. Compass indicator. [Date of printing unknown.]. MS additions, coloured: 'Southsea and Lumps Plan Shewing Lands acquired under Defence Act, 1860'; also showing Lumps Fort. MS reference table to the previous owners, acreages and costs of lands purchased 1862-1863. Signed: Colonel W F Hadden, Commanding Royal Engineer, Portsmouth, 14 December 1870. Pencilled addition shows the site of an artillery barracks.
