'Map of Eastern Asia from Chinese Sources': map of the area between the Caspian Sea in the west, the Russian Kamchatka peninsula in the north-east, and the Chinese island of Formosa (now Taiwan) in the south-east; showing in detail: relief, rivers and lakes, routes, temples, place names and boundaries. Reference tables to the boundaries of China proper, the remainder of the Chinese Empire (Manchuria, Mongolia and Turkistan), areas formerly Chinese and now controlled by Russia, and areas under Chinese suzerainty (Korea and Tibet); to conventional signs; and to place name elements.
