Rector and brothers of Ashridge.

King and council.
Nature of request
The rector and brothers of Ashridge state that they are being distrained for the aid for the marriage of the King's daughter, for lands which they hold in pure and perpetual alms. They request a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
He is to have a writ to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer that, when they have examined the charter of the aforesaid Earl and the King's confirmation, they are to do what is rightly to be done.
