Nature of request
Rose la Mareschale states that the Abbot of Westminster and his bailiffs have wrongly taken money and goods from her house, although she does not owe the Abbot anything, and that she complained about this before Henry de Lacy, Earl of Lincoln, and John de Berwyk, chief justices of the last eyre in Middlesex, and an agreement was reached that the Abbot and his bailiffs would return the whole debt to her, but he has not since returned anything except half a quarter of wheat. She requests a remedy.
