[This petition is damaged.]The people of London state that the office of Mayor of the city was taken into the King's hand by the justices lately in eyre at the Tower of London, because John de Gisorz, when he was Mayor, knowingly received a Henry de Braundeston, indicted of a felony, into the franchise of the city. They state that Henry was acquitted of the felony, and ask that the office might be re-granted to them.
