- The commons of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire state that the Sheriffs of these counties, and their heirs, executors and terre-tenants, have been ruined because they have been unable to levy enough money to pay their farm, because of gifts made by the King's progenitors of hundreds and franchises that used to be annexed to these counties. They ask that the farm might be reduced by £50 for three or four years from the last parliament, so that in the meantime a way might be found to discharge the sheriffs, as has been done for the counties of Essex and Hertfordshire.
