Note
The writ for CIM 1219-1307 no.1326 is dated 10 July 12 Edward I (1284), and it would seem likely to be in response to this petition. CPR 1281-92 p.67 is dated 19 June 1283, and seems to be related, although not directly. Henry de Novo Burgo is appointed to the custody of the castle and honour of Arundel because of the minority of the petitioner on 29 July 1278 (CPR 1272-81 p.275).
