[This document is damaged and hard to read.] Certification to the council from Janequin Calvelegh, lieutenant of Hugh de Calvelegh, Keeper of the Channel Islands, stating that Geoffrey de Seint Martin will not suffer the jurisdiction of the Keeper of the Channel Islands in his case against Thomas Trym, but is prepared to answer before the bailiffs and jurats of Jersey, according to their franchise.
