Nature of request
The petitioners complain of various wrongs committed by John de Fresingefeld and John de Ditton, justices appointed to hold assizes in Jersey, and by the attorneys of Otto de Grantson, so that the people can have no justice for wrongs committed by Otto's attorneys and ministers. They ask that justices might be appointed who are not of Otto's affinity to hear the wrongs done them by the justices and attorneys.
