Nature of request
Form of letters patent, granting permission to John Gra, knight, and Margaret his wife to grant two thirds of two thirds of the manor of Burston to Thomas Murstede, William Bromhall, Ralph Wymbeldon, John Stokes, John Feriby and John Rothwell, together with the remaining parts of the manor after the deaths of Joan, widow of Roger Swillyngton, and Joan, wife of John Bertram and widow of John Swillyngton, who hold them in dower, on condition that when they, or the heirs of Margaret's body, or any other on their behalf, have paid Thomas Murstede or his executors or assigns in the church of St Paul's, London, 200 marks, they will be able to re-enter and repossess this manor.
