- The burgesses of Gloucester request confirmation of all the liberties, privileges, franchises, customs, acquittances and immunities previously granted and confirmed to them by the King, with the clause 'licet', together with certain other privileges which they specify.

- [On face] Be it remembered that this petition has been granted by the lord King in the following form: namely that the burgesses of the aforesaid town are to have all their charters granted to them of old by the King and his progenitors newly confirmed with the clause 'licet' and as many and such liberties, franchises, immunities, acquittances and privileges as the citizens of the city of Worcester have newly of the grant of the same lord King in the nineteenth year of his reign.[None on dorse]
