Nature of request
John Trevylyan states that the King has granted him a corrody and sustenance in the Priory of Holy Trinity, London, after the death of those who receive it at present, and that he has the King's writ addressed to the Prior and convent to this intent. He wishes to restore this writ to the King, and asks that he might instead have the King's writ to the Prior and convent that he and John Louthe, and whichever of them survives longest, might have this corrody immediately after the death of John Risley and Margaret his wife, in the same form as they or their predecessors have held it.
