Borard requests the keeping of his son and heir together with his lands and tenements, and that a writ be granted directed to the escheator of Leicestershire to seize the lands and tenements into the king's hand. Borard is underage and ward to the king but has been wrongfully seized by Lord Roos.

The petition is given the date range of 1389-1398, but actually must date to either the period 1389-1391 when John Gilbert, bishop of St David's was treasurer, or to 1398 when Guy Mone, bishop of St David's was briefly treasurer. It is unclear from the hand of the petition which is more likely.
